Early Career Scholarships
Criteria & Eligibility Information
The Cape Cod Institute is dedicated to supporting early-career clinicians working in agency or community-based nonprofit organizations. Recognizing the barriers that can limit access to continuing education, we aim to provide opportunities for new graduates to enhance their skills and engage in experiential learning.
The Cape Cod Institute invites you to apply for an Early Career Scholarship if you meet each of the following requirements:
-
graduated within three years
-
Currently employed in an agency or community-based organization (non-profit)
-
Obtained an advanced degree in mental health or allied professions (examples include: educators, MD, MDiv, MSW, NP, OT, PhD, PsyD, PT, RN, SLP)
If you are eligible for a scholarship but are not experiencing financial need, we kindly ask that you consider paying for your course. This allows us to expand access to scholarships for the greatest number of people.

-
Previous Applicants: Applicants who have received a scholarship in a previous season are eligible to reapply and may be considered for a scholarship if the budget allows.
-
Award Acceptance: Applicants can accept or reject the awarded scholarship. If an applicant rejects the awarded scholarship they must reapply.
-
Scholarship Limitations: Financial assistance is for tuition, and is not intended to cover the cost of any travel, lodging, or food expenses.
-
Other: Applicants are welcome to apply to both the scholarship program and the volunteer course assistant program.
